Dear Fellow Lions,

December is a month of celebrations and thanksgiving. It is also a month to reflect what we have done and what we did not achieve, for this is the month where new resolutions are made to fulfill our lives and most important, our commitment as Lions.

I may be repeating this phrase, but it is the only one I can think of to instill the spirit of Lionism in you, i.e. "Have a Loving Heart to Care, Tender Hands to Serve and a Gentle Smile to Give."

I hope the M1 Spirit is still with you, as the Lions need more New Hands to Serve in these challenging times. Show this Love to a friend and introduce the spirit of Lionism to him/her.

For the Clubs, December is also the month to nominate one or more deserving members to be a District Fellow in appreciation of their services and contributions to Lionism. This is a Gift of Love in return for their good works as Lions.

As we step into another half of the fiscal year in 2010, let's take note and accomplish what we have set out to do and end this fiscal term with a good story to tell.

Let me wish you a good year ahead and may you and your family be blessed with Good Health, Happiness and Wealth for the Year 2010.
