Dear Zone Chairmen and Presidents,

 

It is with great pleasure to inform all of you the winners of the Peace Poster Contest held recently at the Sunway Pyramid on 8th November 2009.

 

1st prize won by Lim Wan Cheng from the Lions Club of Kota Baru

2nd prize won by Chin Yi Yun from Lions Club of Seremban Central

3rd prize won by Ho Mun Juein from Lions Club of KL North

 

I wish to congratulate the respective winning Clubs on your success.  I had the opportunity to be with the judges that day and they really had a tough time deciding who would be the winner.  All the art were very good and it took them more than an hour to select the best of the lot.

 

Enclosed are the winning entries and also the recipients of the prizes.

 

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your cooperation and support for the last 3-4 months to assist in organizing this Peace Poster Contest for both Zone and school level.  It was a great success and the media had also placed articles of the launching as well as the final judging in the newspapers like Malay Mail, Kong Wah, Southern Press and Sin Chew.

 

Thank you once again for your cooperation and concerted effort and it was YOU and your club members who jointly made things happened.
